This week we were exploring wire as a material.  All the YAS students were surprised how much potential this material has; multiple ideas immediately came to mind! You probably remember that, last week we were creating plaster sculptures, this week we decided to combine these two materials and create a holder for the plaster piece. The main goal is to expand our range of thinking to eliminate any borders between ideas and creative process. Next session we will start working on our final project that will also utilize different sculpting tools and techniques.
